Interface: CurveKey

Value types the particle modules are configured with (Unity's AnimationCurve / MinMaxCurve / Gradient / MinMaxGradient), as plain JSON so scenes, prefabs and the AI write them directly.

Particle curves are normalised (time 0..1 over a particle's life or the system's duration) and interpolate with Hermite tangents like Unity's — a different model from AnimationClip's per-key cubic-bezier easing, which is why they don't go through Animation/AnimationSample. Everything here runs per particle per frame: no allocation, scalars in and out. A key on a normalised curve. in / out are slopes (value per unit time); a missing one is automatic — the neighbouring segment's slope at an end key (two keys make a straight line), Catmull-Rom smooth in between.
