Interface: BundleManifestOptions

Builds an array of AssetDescriptors directly from a Vite-style import.meta.glob result. One-line bridge between "Vite tracks every asset in this folder" and "load them all into the engine's AssetLoader." Pairs with LoadSpriteSequence — same input shape, but instead of returning bare URLs it produces descriptors with { id, type, src } ready to feed into assetLoader.Load(...).

Defaults: id — basename without extension, with the bundler's content hash stripped (Star_Particle_PNG_00000-AbCdEf.webp → Star_Particle_PNG_00000). type — inferred from the extension (.png → 'texture', .mp3 → 'audio', etc.). sort — natural-numeric (same as LoadSpriteSequence).

Typical usage: await assetLoader.Load( LoadBundleManifest( import.meta.glob('./assets/Star_Particle/*.webp', { eager: true, query: '?url', import: 'default' }), { idPrefix: 'STAR_PARTICLE_' }, ), );

Properties

PropertyTypeDescriptionInherited from
filter?(key, url) => booleanFilter applied AFTER sort — return true to keep. Useful for skipping .DS_Store etc. when a glob accidentally matches them.SpriteSequenceOptions.filter
id?(key, url) => stringOverride id derivation. Default: basename without extension, with the bundler hash suffix (-AbCdEf) stripped.-
idPrefix?stringPrepended to every derived id. Has no effect when id is provided.-
metadata?Record<string, unknown>Optional metadata applied to every emitted descriptor (e.g. { orientation: 'portrait' }).-
sort?(a, b) => numberOptional comparator for keys. Defaults to natural-numeric sort so frame_2.webp sorts before frame_10.webp (lexicographic would put _10 first).SpriteSequenceOptions.sort
type?| AssetType | ((key, url) => AssetType)Override type per entry, or pin all entries to one type. Default: inferred from extension (texture/audio/font/json/binary).-
