Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data PlayAdGentic (“we”, “us”) collects through this website and through MMPX Studio, why, and the choices you have. In short: we collect what we need to run the service, we don't sell it, and we don't track you around the web.
Who we are
PlayAdGentic makes MMPX Studio and the mmpx runtime, and is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at contact@mmpx-studio.com.
What we collect
When you join the beta list
Your email address, your company name if you give it, what you make (playable ads, web games or both), and when you signed up.
When you use MMPX Studio
- Account details — your email address and sign-in details. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored only in hashed form. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
- Subscription and usage — your plan, trial and subscription status, and how many AI credits you use.
- Your projects — the files you create and upload (scenes, scripts, images, audio and so on), stored so you can work on them. They are yours; we use them only to provide the service to you.
- What you send to the AI — your messages, the files you attach (such as briefs), and the parts of your project the AI reads to answer you.
- Payments — when paid plans launch, payments are processed by a merchant of record. We receive your subscription status and billing country, never your full card details.
- Technical data — like any website, our hosting and database providers record technical information such as IP addresses, browser type and request times, used to keep the service running and secure.
This website itself uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and loads nothing from third parties — even its fonts are served from our own address.
How we use it
- To provide MMPX Studio: your account, your projects, builds and the AI assistant.
- To invite people on the beta list, and to tell account holders about changes that affect their account or subscription.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, use it for advertising, or use your projects or AI conversations to train AI models.
Legal bases
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: contract to provide the service you sign up for; consent for the beta list, which you can withdraw at any time; legitimate interests to secure and improve the service; and legal obligation for records we must keep.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf, under contracts that restrict how they use it:
- Supabase — our database, sign-in and file storage.
- Anthropic — the AI model behind the assistant. What you send to the AI is passed to Anthropic to generate the reply, under its commercial terms, which don't allow it to train its models on that data.
- Our hosting provider — serves this website and the editor.
- Our payment provider — once paid plans launch.
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where data leaves the EU, UK or another country with transfer rules, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Beta list — until the beta has opened to you, or until you ask us to remove you.
- Account and projects — while your account exists. When you delete your account we delete your data within 30 days, apart from copies in backups (which expire on their own schedule) and records we must keep by law.
- Technical logs — kept briefly, for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies and browser storage
This website sets no cookies. MMPX Studio keeps a few things in your browser's local storage because it can't work without them: your sign-in session, your preferences such as the editor's theme, and a cache of your project's files so they load faster. None of it is used for tracking, and signing out clears your session and cache.
Games you export
Playables and games you export run on the mmpx runtime, which collects no personal data and never contacts our servers. When you publish a game, you are responsible for the data your game and the ad networks or portals you publish on collect from players.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy in a portable format, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent. To use any of these rights, email contact@mmpx-studio.com; we'll answer within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
If you live in California: we don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and you have the right to know, delete and correct the personal information we hold about you.
Children
MMPX Studio is a tool for professionals and isn't directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their personal data; if you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
Data travels encrypted (HTTPS). Access to accounts and projects is enforced by the database's own access rules, and we limit who on our side can reach personal data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect yours and will tell you of a breach as the law requires.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and tell account holders by email before a significant change takes effect.
